Raspberry Limeade Slushies
Something for those who don't drink alcohol. I normally double the berries but that's me.
Tips: Try with acai, blueberries, & strawberries. If your berries aren't fully ripe, add a pinch of salt.
Okay, so I don't have a picture of the drinks themselves because we drank them. :-(
Pome Heights
1oz Light Rum
1oz Dark Rum
½ oz Coconut Rum
1 2/3 Fresh Pomegranate Juice (We use PAMA)
2oz Pineapple Juice
1oz Gomme Syrup
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a highball filled with Crushed ice. Add garnish (sliced pineapple, maraschino cherry) and serve.
Tropical Sangria
I added: Three slice kiwi, one star fruit, one lime, one lemon, and I used chilled champagne. You can also try it with one ripe mango and melon.
Tips: After mixing the fruit, let it rest for thirty minutes before topping with liquor. If serving a crowd, supply a small bowl of powdered sugar or simple syrup for guests to sweeten their glasses to taste.
