I began writing short stories for monthly newsletters and, believe it or not, my friends. After much encouragement, I’m ready to offer you a taste of what only a few have previously savored.

For some reason BJ (Baby Jack) couldn't wait to get up in morning. We’ve gotten him out of the habit of sleeping between Greg and I. Now he sleeps at the foot of our bed.
When Greg’s alarm goes off, BJ walks right up and sticks his nose in Greg's face. After a couple minutes BJ jumps off the bed, however, if Greg doesn’t follow right away BJ comes back to see where he is. When Greg finally gets out of bed and heads for the bathroom, BJ follows and takes swats at his ankles. I see this as punishment for not doing as he was told.:)
After BJ finishes his breakfast in the kitchen, he comes upstairs and spookily watches Greg as he meditates. After that, BJ stares at Greg while he eats breakfast, and then alerts him when it’s time for his run…and away they go. This happens every morning!! Is this normal? None of our other pets have done this.
Until this morning I didn't realize how predictable Greg and BJ’s routine had become. I told Greg that BJ has to sleep downstairs tonight. I want to see if his behavior is strictly routine or instinctual.
You see, BJ is the newest, youngest, and smallest of the pets (save Turtle). He quickly let everyone know that he meant to rule…which he does efficiently. So we’re kicking his butt out! I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thank you! He's my little spoiled angel! Next to BC, he's the best snuggle-buddy. :)

He is so cute. He deserves to be the boss. BC and BJ were meant to rule your roost. Accept it..They have... lol

Yes they do! BC and BJ run this house. When they're together, I don't have to worry about them. BC can run like the wind as long as BJ is with him. lol

Oh my goodness he is too precious! I love dogs! I miss my Eric so much. Even though he's small I can picture him as a running companion Jack Russells are extremely hyper. I don't think it's just routine because my dog was the same way. I think he may have a Napoleon complex because most little dogs do...I know mine did. :)

I have to admit, I was a little pissy when Greg said we were getting another Jack (hell, another pet!) but when they brought BJ from Rhode Island I fell in love with him. He stepped in the house with a God-like complex. The other dogs just kinda looked at him.
I believe swatting of Greg's ankles is payback because he doesn't do it if Greg gets out of bed right away. BJ knows what he's doing! We'll see how he deals with being locked out of the room tonight. |

who could anyone deny him anything with such an innocent face. kicking out of his domain may backfire on you two(we'll see)

I know! BJ looks so innocent but he's demanding. 9:00 is he's bedtime. He can't sleep with any light in the room...he'll stare at you or lay across your chest until you turn it out. lol
We'll see how tonight goes. I give Greg until midnight. He'll fetch him upstairs. |

Not to sound perverted, but the title of this blog is very misleading. LOL. Very cute dog!

LMAO! I didn't see it that way until you mentioned it. Maybe I should change it to something less misleading. Greg's going to kill me.

LOL. Just wanted to point it out because I though it was kinda funny. But why would Greg be upset? I'm sure he's aware how open you are with us. It definitely makes the readers of your blogs/stories more comfortable with their own sexuality/attraction. Which is why I became a fan of yours. Or maybe he doesn't want us to confuse the adorable dog with an sex act like that. LOL. Either way, it's definitely a lot of fun reading your stuff. Very talented! ; )

Aw, thanks Sarah. That's so sweet of you. Maybe I should've said Greg isn't going to let me live this down. He gets a kick out of my slip-ups. :) Oh Greg's knows all too well what goes on here. Every once in a while he'll make a comment.
If my ramblings opens the readers minds and brings them one measure of joy, then my work is done. Thanks for allow me to bore you to death! |

OMG! He is so adorable! It makes me want to run out and buy me a puppy. Yeah he looks like he runs the house. Good luck trying to kick him out the room. I don't think he be to happy about it. Lol!

Jack Russells hook you with their cuteness...the next thing you know, they're running your house. BJ is the King of the pets! He's been hanging with his bddy BC most of the day. Tonight should be an utter meltdown.

I'll stick with King the Cat lol. Although I did spend the week with Bigzy the big, fat, snoring bulldog.

Mark, the cats roll their eyes at BJ and keep on moving. Bigzy is a ham! I've never heard a dog snore like that....Never!

Thanks Stephanie! We had a snow white chow for a number of years. They're so lovable but when they're upset you know it! Luke, our lab now lives in Alabama with my Grandmother. Yeah she took my dog. And let's not talk about our cats.
